General Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and validation of embedded software for advanced products and systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply software engineering principles to assist in the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements, and design and implement small software features for products and systems.
• Participate in the design, coding of small features, unit testing, minor debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of multi-processor, multi-threaded systems, inter-process, and inter-processor communication.
• Understanding of high-level OS concepts including Threads, Synchronization, and Memory Management.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Ability to quickly understand feature/product requirements and ramp up on new technologies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with embedded operating systems such as QNX, Linux, Ubuntu, or Android NDK is preferred.
