Engineer

Join Qualcomm India's growing multimedia systems team as a Systems Engineer in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana. This role focuses on innovating and delivering high-performance mobile multimedia capabilities with low power consumption and cost, offering strong feature differentiation. We are actively seeking system engineers for our advanced work in vision and image processing. Responsibilities may include designing computer vision and image processing for mobile devices, developing and evaluating algorithms for hardware and software prototypes, optimizing algorithms for hardware acceleration, supporting product teams in commercialization through solution optimization, performance profiling, and benchmarking, and contributing to test regression and release support. The ideal candidate will have 1-7 years of experience in multimedia/embedded technologies, strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, experience with real-time/embedded systems (a plus), and knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD frameworks. Preferred qualifications include exposure to Vision or Multimedia accelerators, working experience with image processing and computer vision algorithms, strong knowledge of data structures, and experience with software optimizations for SIMD and multi-threading.
