Mandarin Speaking Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a bilingual Mandarin-speaking Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator to bridge communication between our Taiwan-based engineering headquarters and our manufacturing operations in India. This role is critical for supporting SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and FATP (Final Assembly Test & Packline) production lines.

Your Mission

You will act as the primary language and technical liaison, ensuring seamless collaboration between Chinese-speaking stakeholders and local teams. Your expertise in Mandarin Chinese–English translation and interpretation will ensure that complex engineering instructions, process changes, quality requirements, and production issues are accurately conveyed on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a live Mandarin/English communication bridge between Taiwan engineers and India manufacturing teams.
• Translate technical documents, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), work instructions, and engineering reports with high accuracy.
• Provide real-time interpretation during production meetings, NPI (New Product Introduction) activities, root cause analysis sessions, and quality reviews.
• Support Taiwan engineers visiting the India facility by facilitating on-site coordination and communication.
• Coordinate process changes and corrective actions to ensure timely implementation across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Mandatory: 1–10 years of experience with proven proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and interpreting Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical engineering terminology accurately.

Technical & Manufacturing Skills

• Familiarity with SMT and FATP manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
• Understanding of EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services), electronics assembly, or contract manufacturing environments.
• Experience in NPI workflows, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), PFMEA analysis, and engineering change management.
