Engineer

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Developer and Scrum Master reporting to the Head of Software Engineering, you will play a vital role in the development of our comprehensive software applications. You will be responsible for planning and organizing tasks and responsibilities for a team of developers. Your duties will include actively participating in application development, managing and taking ownership of the entire development lifecycle following established processes such as Git flow and code reviews, and evangelizing best practices like SOLID principles. You will also provide technical support and coaching to new joiners, junior developers, and consultants.

As a Developer, you will:

• Actively participate in application development activities.
• Manage and own all development cycles with respect to processes like Git flow, code review, and best practice evangelization (e.g., SOLID principles).
• Support and technically coach new joiners, junior developers, and consultants.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Web & Mobile App Development.

Skills:

• Assist in building web and mobile application features using ReactJS and React Native under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and backend developers to understand requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Develop basic reusable UI components and contribute to creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Adhere to coding standards, write simple unit tests, and support CI/CD activities as directed.
• Support cloud engineers in deploying and maintaining applications on Azure Cloud, gaining experience with Docker and Kubernetes containers.
• Integrate front-end features with REST APIs and contribute to event-based workflows for real-time data.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform short and long-range planning.
• Exhibit structured, organized, rigorous, and conscientious work habits.
• Show the ability to work independently and take initiative, with manager validation.
