Responsibilities and Key Deliverables
• Possess knowledge of new product development processes.
• Have a basic understanding of tractor/vehicle systems and their applications.
• Demonstrate functional understanding and experience in designing components for tractors and automotive vehicles.
• Proficient in designing sheet metal, plastic, trims, and rubber parts.
• Knowledge of tractor design, testing, and validation procedures.
• Expertise in using design software such as Creo/Pro-E, UG NX, and Teamcenter Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and benchmarking techniques.
• Familiarity with Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) principles and design verification processes.
• Skilled in 3D layout, 2D drawing preparation, and interface checking.
• Knowledge of design tools including DFMEA, DFM, DFA, DFS, and GD&T.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes for sheet metal and plastic parts.
• Understanding of assembly and serviceability requirements in tractors/vehicles.
Experience Required
4 to 6 years of relevant experience in the design and manufacturing of sheet metal, plastic, and rubber parts.
Industry Preference
Tractor / Automotive industry experience is preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Automotive or Mechanical engineering.
General Requirements
Expertise in the design and development of sheet metal, plastic, and rubber parts.
Expertise in using CAD software such as Creo/Pro-E, UG NX, and proficient in surface modeling.
