About the Job

We are seeking an expert engineer proficient in one or more of the following critical areas:

• Cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and load balancing.
• 5G Network Functions such as AMF, SMF, PCF, CHF, and NEF.
• EPC (Evolved Packet Core) functions like MME, PGW, SGW, and CUPS.
• 4G/5G handovers, specifically N26.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Architect and develop comprehensive Mobile Packet Core (MPC) solutions supporting both 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies. This includes the development of key components such as Serving Gateway (SGW), PDN Gateway (PGW), and User Plane Function (UPF) for 4G, and Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), Session Management Function (SMF), and User Plane Function (UPF) for 5G.
• Cloud-Native Architecture: Design solutions with a cloud-native approach, utilizing containerization, microservices, and orchestration technologies to ensure seamless scalability and manageability in dynamic cloud environments.
• High Availability and Reliability: Build MPC solutions with a focus on high availability, incorporating redundant components and failover mechanisms for continuous operation and minimal service disruption. Optimize performance to handle telco-scale traffic loads, ensuring low latency and high throughput for modern mobile networks.
• Scalability: Design solutions for elastic scaling to efficiently accommodate varying traffic loads and network demands. Implement advanced load balancing techniques to distribute traffic evenly, enhancing performance and reliability.
• Innovation and Integration: Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, integrating emerging technologies like Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN). Ensure interoperability with existing network elements and seamless integration into diverse network environments.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique requirements and tailor solutions accordingly. Provide comprehensive support and training for effective deployment, management, and optimization of our MPC solutions.

The Tejas Networks team provides scalable and innovative 4G/5G solutions. Our portfolio includes Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions such as Remote Radio Heads (RRHs) or Radio Units (RUs), Massive MIMO Radios (Advanced Antenna Systems, AAS), Base Band Units (BBUs), Distributed Units (DUs), and Centralized Units (CUs). We also offer a robust Mobile Packet Core and an Advanced Network Management solution.
