About the Role

Bedrock Data is seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Mateo, CA. As we build next-generation cloud security platforms for an AI-driven world, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing secure, scalable backend logic that protects critical data infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, high-performance services using our diverse technology stack including Golang, Python, Node.js, AWS cloud infrastructure, and Neo4j graph databases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver exceptional security solutions.
• Influence architectural decisions and drive system design for scalable enterprise platforms.
• Propose novel technical approaches to solve complex challenges in AI-native data governance.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, ideally within cybersecurity or regulated industries.
• Strong proficiency in backend cloud technologies (Java preferred) and database management systems (SQL, Neo4j).
