Engineer

As an Engineer at KP Group in Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of advanced electronic systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing electronic circuits, PCBs, and control systems for machinery, alongside selecting and integrating essential components like microcontrollers, sensors, motor drivers, and power electronics. You will be instrumental in developing firmware for embedded systems using C/C++ or Python, with a focus on stepper, servo, and BLDC motor control for automated solutions. The role also involves designing and testing power management circuits, battery management systems, and DC-DC converters. Collaboration with mechanical and R&D teams for seamless system integration is key. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and comprehensive documentation for production. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in prototypes and ensuring compliance with safety and EMC standards are integral parts of this position.

We are seeking candidates with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field, possessing 1-3 years of experience in electronic circuit design and embedded systems. Freshers with strong technical acumen are also encouraged to apply. Essential skills include proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium, Eagle, KiCad, or OrCAD, and hands-on experience with microcontrollers like STM32, ESP32, Arduino, or PIC. A solid understanding of analog/digital circuits, power electronics, and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus, etc.) is required. The ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and perform circuit debugging is vital, as is knowledge of firmware development in C/C++ and basic Python scripting. Experience with soldering, prototyping, and utilizing testing lab equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers is expected.
