Engineer

As a Software Test Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana, India, you will play a crucial role in validating cutting-edge products. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and modifying test cases for embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, and automation. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to create and implement comprehensive test plans, identify software defects, and contribute to improving overall product quality. This role involves assisting in the development of test case automations and scripts to enhance productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• 1+ year of academic or professional experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 1+ year of experience in Software Test or System Test, including developing and automating test plans and tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).

Responsibilities:

• Apply software and systems knowledge to support test case design, development, and validation.
• Design and implement basic test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Write functional tests for features to ensure proper functionality.
• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and documenting software defects.
• Collaborate with project teams to achieve objectives and enhance product quality.
• Assist in developing test case automations and scripts.
