Mindrift seeks freelance AI trainers for project-based opportunities with leading tech companies, focusing on testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems. This is project-based work, not permanent employment. Responsibilities include designing energy engineering problems, evaluating AI solutions, validating calculations with Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy), improving AI reasoning, and applying scoring criteria.
Ideal candidates are energy engineers with Python experience, open to part-time, non-permanent projects. Qualifications include a degree in Energy Engineering or related fields (Electrical, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Electronics), 3+ years of energy engineering experience, strong written English (C1/C2), and proficient Python skills for numerical validation. A stable internet connection is essential. Professional certifications and international/applied project experience are advantageous.
The process involves application, qualification, project joining, task completion, and payment. Project time expectations are 10-20 hours per week during active phases, which is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload. Payment rates can be up to $12/hour, with fixed or individual project rates and potential incentive payments. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, and project needs.
