eMM Application Specialist

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking an eMM Application Specialist to play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care through our Electronic Medication solutions. This position focuses on the ongoing support and management of clinical applications, with a strong emphasis on the development and maintenance of Cerner Applications specifically for Community Health services. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our electronic medication management systems, contributing directly to patient safety and clinical outcomes.

Key responsibilities include providing expert support for clinical and patient management applications, managing upgrades and maintenance, ensuring EMR data quality, and driving enhancements and optimization of the eMR. You will consult on the development of new clinical applications, business process reengineering, change management, and post-implementation reviews. A primary focus will be the daily maintenance and development of Cerner Applications for Community Health, adhering to State mandatory reporting requirements and local enhancement requests. Collaboration with fellow application specialists within CASU is essential to achieve collective outcomes. You will also assist with Profile/Health Information Management, Scheduling, Unique Patient Identifier, Data Corrections, and Reporting to meet District, State, and National standards.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Sydney.
