Embedded Systems Engineer

Perceptyne Robots is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer (L2, L3) to join our innovative team in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana, India. As an integral part of our robotics development, you will be responsible for all aspects of electronics development.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass system and sub-system level decision-making, schema simulations, component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, control algorithm development, firmware programming, rigorous testing, and ensuring production scalability. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer passionate about robotics and contributing to disruptive technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all facets of electronics development for our robots.
• Make system/sub-system level design decisions.
• Perform schema simulations and component selection.
• Conduct schematic capture and PCB design.
• Develop control algorithms and firmware programming.
• Conduct thorough testing and support production scale-up.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent (ECE / EEE / EIE / Mechatronics).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Circuit Design: Proficient in designing power supply management, microcontroller subsystems, ADC/DAC circuits, protection, and isolation circuits. Extensive knowledge of electronic components, signal integrity, reliability, grounding, and isolation guidelines. Strong understanding of datasheet figures of merit and basic circuit configurations. Excellent proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools. Dexterity with test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, DMMs) is essential.
• Firmware Development: Good proficiency in C-based firmware development. Strong experience with IDEs, debuggers, and microcontroller vendor tools. Ability to write well-architected, modular, and documented code. Strong debugging skills. Proficiency in LabVIEW / MATLAB / VHDL is a significant advantage. A good understanding of control systems is also a plus.
• Soft Skills: Passion for Robotics & DIY projects. Systematic approach to work, documentation, and tracking. Resourceful, creative, and possess a sense of urgency. Curious about company-wide activities and willing to contribute where possible to learn and add value.
