Full Job Description
About The Role
The Software (CE-SW) group develops software for Arm's next-generation architectures. You will work on low-level firmware development, test, debug various platforms, create software stacks, develop automation solutions, and analyze industry specs to implement project plans.
Responsibilities
- Active involvement in the design and test of reference application processor firmware.
- Create software stacks for Arm's reference platforms for future devices.
- Develop test code and automation solutions to minimize manual tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in embedded systems or low-level software development.
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills with the ability to fix complex defects.
- Demonstrated experience with OS fundamentals, bootloaders, and device drivers (preferably ARM architecture).
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows operating systems and driver development.
Nice To Have
- Experience with Python programming and shell scripts.
- Basic understanding of the Linux kernel, Android internals, and open-source project cycles.
- Familiarity with software profiling, instrumentation, optimization, and Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.
