Embedded Software Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer - Bluetooth to join our Engineering Group. In this role, you will design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. You will contribute to launching cutting-edge, world-class products that meet and exceed customer expectations. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions and define performance requirements and interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and validate embedded software for Bluetooth-enabled products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware and system requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems using advanced tools.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in embedded systems development.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in Bluetooth and embedded systems development.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Deep knowledge of Bluetooth low energy (BLE), classic Bluetooth, Bluetooth connections, and advertisements.
• Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Experience using debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and Bluetooth packet sniffers.
• Experience with Bluetooth Mesh and Periodic Advertisement is a plus.
• Familiarity with popular Bluetooth SoCs (e.g., Nordic, TI, Qualcomm).
