Embedded Firmware/Software Engineer - ROM Development
Role Overview:
- Develop HAL and Peripheral device drivers for NXP MCX, Crossover RT, and i.MX families (I2C, SPI, UART, USB) in bare metal, ROM, and RTOS environments.
- Deliver high-quality, documented code verified on pre-silicon RTL/Emulation platforms with near-100% test coverage.
Key Challenges:
Create robust ROM code without silicon access; harden critical sections against physical/logical attacks while meeting safety standards.
Cross Functional Aspects:
Collaborate globally with SOC, Marketing, and Verification teams. Receive mentoring from senior engineers (10+ years experience).
