About the Role

We are seeking an Embedded Engineer for our Industrial Safety team. You will develop advanced embedded and FPGA-enabled systems for critical gas and flame detection products that protect against accidental leaks, ensuring hazard mitigation and life protection in industrial facilities like boiler rooms to petrochemical plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Design new Fixed Gas and Flame Detection sensor solutions and Controllers within the Industrial Safety Engineering group.
• Develop embedded software meeting functional safety requirements (IEC 61508 SIL 2, EN 60079-29-1).
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from analysis to testing using automated frameworks for high coverage.
• Implement FPGA-based interfaces for real-time signal processing and data capture.
• Support laser driver activities including current/temperature control, modulation, calibration, and optical sensing validation.
