Electrical Engineer

Role Overview:
PACCAR India is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer in Pune to join our high-performing team. You will focus on the design and development of advanced electrical systems and wiring harness solutions for commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute CAD design for electrical systems and wiring harnesses using Siemens Capital (Capital XC/Logic) and Creo.
- Interpret requirements, perform clearance checks, and ensure adherence to drawing standards, GD&T, and BOM accuracy.
- Develop electrical system architecture, topology, circuit design (including CAN communication), and multicore wiring.
- Perform 3D cabling, routing, modeling in Creo for manufacturability.
- Support integration across engine, chassis, cab, and sleeper assemblies.
- Manage engineering data in PLM systems (Windchill).
- Conduct design validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution at virtual and vehicle levels.
- Maintain project documentation, status trackers, and provide regular updates via Excel/PowerPoint.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with automotive domain knowledge.
Requirements & Skills (1–4 Years Experience):
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM.
- Hands-on experience in Capital Harness Systems (Capital XC/Logic).
- Strong understanding of electrical system design, wiring harness development (mandatory), topology, and component selection (wires, insulation, fuses, relays, connectors).
- Exposure to high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) designs.
