Role Overview

Elongo Global Services (EGS) is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Nelamangala, Bangalore. This role is critical for supporting electrical design review, site execution, installation, testing, and commissioning activities within industrial site projects. The ideal candidate will have significant exposure to PLC, HMI, and SCADA panels, a proven track record in site execution, and the ability to work independently to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe, timely project delivery. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and support electrical design drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Perform thorough electrical panel inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Execute and supervise electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities at project sites.
• Handle the testing and commissioning of PLC, HMI, and SCADA panels.
• Coordinate effectively with design, automation, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation-related issues encountered during commissioning.
• Support production activities by addressing and resolving electrical system concerns.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including commissioning reports, as-built drawings, and handover documents.
• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety norms and project timelines.

Mandatory Skills & Experience for Electrical Engineers in Bangalore

Candidates must possess:

• 25 years of hands-on experience in:
• Electrical installation
• Site commissioning
• Electrical panel inspection
• Practical, in-depth exposure toPLC, HMI, and SCADA panels.
• Experience working onindustrial, manufacturing, or automation project sites.
• Strong understanding of electrical standards, wiring practices, and electrical safety norms.
• Demonstrated ability towork independently at site.
• Willingness totravel and work at various project sitesas required.

Mandatory Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
