We are seeking a full-time EHS Project Manager to join our team in New Delhi, India. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and contractors, minimizing environmental impact, and safeguarding Alstom's assets.

Your Future Role:

In this challenging position, you will apply your expertise in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) within a cutting-edge field. You will collaborate with dynamic teammates and play a pivotal role in EHS management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement EHS risk assessments and emergency plans.
• Monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support project management in achieving EHS performance goals.
• Ensure EHS risk assessments are conducted and control measures are implemented.
• Prepare, implement, and maintain emergency plans at the project level.
• Monitor and manage subcontractor EHS activities.
• Lead and coach EHS teams within the project.
• Deploy Alstom EHS standards and tools (e.g., AZDP, TOPE).
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and company EHS requirements.
• Prepare and implement EHS training and communication plans.
• Report, investigate, and analyze accidents and incidents.
• Monitor historical pollution and associated risks.
• Prepare and submit monthly EHS reports.

About You:

We value passion and attitude. While not every skill is expected, the following will help you succeed:

• University degree in Engineering or Business.
• Health & Safety qualification recognized by local authorities.
• (Desirable) Degree-level environmental qualification.
• 6–7 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in Environment, Health & Safety.
• Experience in project environments.
• Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001.
• Deep understanding of local legal requirements in India.
• (Desirable) Experience in metro and railway projects.
• (Desirable) EHS auditor certification.
• Teamwork and leadership skills.
• Analytical thinking and a rigorous mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement tools.
• Good computer skills.
