Position Summary: Analyst

As an Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of delivering high-quality work products independently and within stipulated timelines. Your role will involve leveraging your technical proficiencies beyond core skills to optimize project outcomes, proactively identifying and communicating potential issues or risks to team leads, and completing assigned technology learning objectives promptly. You will swiftly adapt to project-specific tools, gain a deep understanding of client business processes and industry fundamentals, and support process improvements, automation, and innovation. Maintaining up-to-date project documentation, contributing to the tracking of delivery metrics, and leading knowledge-sharing sessions on processes and technology trends will be key aspects of your contribution. You will also actively participate in team-building activities, defect management, and compliance efforts, demonstrating strong ownership of deliverables and engaging in the ideation and development of tools, accelerators, and innovative solutions.

The AI & Data offering at Deloitte provides comprehensive solutions for designing, developing, and operating advanced Data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services. Our expertise empowers clients to innovate, enhance their data, AI, and analytics capabilities, and effectively scale their operations.

AI & Data professionals collaborate with clients to:

• Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms, encompassing data management, governance, and the integration of structured and unstructured data. Leverage cloud, edge, and AI/ML technologies and methodologies for storage and processing to generate actionable insights.
• Utilize automation, cognitive, and AI-based solutions for effective data management, scenario prediction, and prescriptive actions.
• Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading data ecosystems and application platforms. Provide As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements through analytics expertise.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake system hierarchy.
• Solid understanding of DBMS concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in Snowflake schema concepts, tables, views, stages, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in data validation, writing custom SQL code, and managing Snowflake account, users, roles, and privileges.
• Experience integrating ETL tools such as DataStage or Informatica with Snowflake.
• Experience integrating BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI with Snowflake.
• Proven ability in performance tuning and troubleshooting of Snowflake.
• Familiarity with understanding design documents like HLD (High-Level Design) and LLD (Low-Level Design).
• Well-versed in data migration and integration concepts.
• Ability to independently implement solutions based on design document inputs.
• Experience participating in various testing phases including Unit Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Good-to-Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Exposure to Data Modeling concepts is desirable.
• Exposure to advanced Snowflake features like Data Sharing, Cloning, Export, and Import is desirable.
• Participation in client interactions and meetings is desirable.
• Experience in code tuning is desirable.

Education:

• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
