WSP is looking for a motivated Graduate in Economics or Data Analytics to join our Bengaluru, Karnataka team. This role will provide hands-on experience in economic research, data analysis, and visualization, supporting clients across the Middle East and globally. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment, applying data-driven insights to real-world planning, infrastructure, and development projects.

• Conduct applied economic analysis, including cost–benefit assessments, economic impact analysis, and policy evaluations.
• Assist with data collection, cleaning, and management to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Contribute to the development of dashboards and visual reporting tools using platforms like Power BI and Tableau.
• Transform datasets into meaningful insights to support business cases, market assessments, and socio-economic studies.
• Collaborate with planners, transport specialists, and environmental teams to integrate analytical insights into broader projects.
• Assist in preparing presentations, research summaries, and technical reports for internal and client deliverables.
• Provide analytical and research support across DPUD and Advisory teams as needed.

Qualifications:

• Recently completed a degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an interest in economic and policy analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with analytical tools such as Power BI, R, Python, or similar.
• Understanding of data visualization principles and experience communicating insights through data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate initiative in a collaborative setting.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to GIS or spatial data analysis.
• Familiarity with global datasets (e.g., UN, World Bank, national statistics).
• Interest in sustainability, urban development, and socio-economic policy.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to multidisciplinary, evidence-based projects.
