E-mail & SMS Marketing Specialist

Linen Chest, a leading Canadian destination for premium home goods, is actively seeking a highly skilled Email & SMS Marketing Specialist to elevate our digital communication strategies. This pivotal role involves the development and execution of compelling email and SMS campaigns designed to foster customer engagement, cultivate loyalty, and significantly drive sales. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated and passionate marketing team in our Laval, Quebec office.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, managing, and executing comprehensive email marketing and SMS campaigns, encompassing promotional, transactional, and lifecycle communications.
• Coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams, including Creative, E-commerce, and Merchandising, to ensure all digital content aligns seamlessly with brand guidelines and overarching marketing objectives.
• Building and meticulously managing email lists, segments, and databases to optimize targeting accuracy and campaign performance.
• Designing and implementing robust A/B testing strategies to enhance open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates.
• Analyzing critical campaign performance metrics, such as open rates, CTR, and conversion rates, to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement of future campaigns.
• Managing the scheduling, segmentation, and personalization of email and SMS content through advanced marketing automation tools.
• Ensuring strict adherence to email marketing best practices and relevant anti-spam legislation, including CASL and GDPR.
• Collaborating on lead generation initiatives, working in tandem with customer acquisition and retention teams.
• Continuously exploring and testing innovative strategies for email and SMS campaigns to maximize engagement and sales, including subject lines, send times, and personalized messaging.
• Assisting in the setup and management of automated workflows for cart abandonment, product recommendations, and post-purchase communications.
• Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in email and SMS marketing to drive innovation within our campaign efforts.

We are looking for candidates with:

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in email and SMS marketing, ideally within the retail or e-commerce sector.
• Proficiency with leading marketing automation platforms such as Klaviyo, Listrak, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• A strong understanding of segmentation, automation, and A/B testing methodologies.
• Proven experience in analyzing campaign performance and delivering insightful, actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with CASL and GDPR regulations.
• Exceptional project management and multitasking capabilities.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Familiarity with HTML for email design.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly advantageous.
