Drone Systems Engineer

About This Role

We are seeking a hands-on UAV & Autonomous Systems Engineer to join our engineering team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical experience in UAV development, autonomous systems architecture, and hardware-software integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong hands-on experience building, integrating, and testing UAVs.
• Show expertise with flight control software such as ArduPilot and/or PX4.
• Integrate advanced companion computers including NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi.
• Sensor integration: cameras, LiDAR, depth cameras, and various payloads.
• Utilize working knowledge of MAVLink and telemetry systems for data transmission.
• Leverage experience with ROS/ROS2 frameworks.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ programming languages.
• Solid experience with computer vision libraries like OpenCV.
• In-depth understanding of VIO (Visual-Inertial Odometry), SLAM, optical flow, and visual navigation techniques.
