About the Role

Tekfriday Processing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Application Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to build scalable, high-performance applications within the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. This role mandates recent experience with .NET 8, requiring candidates to have completed at least their last two projects end-to-end using .NET 8, encompassing API development, middleware, data access, and deployment.

Ideal candidates possess strong fundamentals in ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server, with a proven ability to transition to modern, cloud-ready .NET 8 architectures.

Key Responsibilities

.NET 8 Application Development (Mandatory)

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure applications using .NET 8, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
• Lead end-to-end development cycles in .NET 8, including architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Build RESTful APIs leveraging modern .NET 8 features such as minimal APIs, middleware pipelines, and performance improvements.
• Migrate or refactor legacy .NET Framework components into modern .NET 8 services where applicable.

Database Engineering & Optimization

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server 2019+ databases.
• Write and optimize complex stored procedures, queries, functions, and triggers.
• Analyze and tune query performance using execution plans and indexing strategies.

Performance, Security & Quality Engineering

• Identify and resolve application and API-level performance bottlenecks.
• Implement secure coding standards aligned with OWASP and .NET security best practices.
• Utilize monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Serilog, Application Insights, ELK) to track and enhance application performance.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in application development.
• Proven hands-on experience in .NET 8, with the last two completed projects built end-to-end using .NET 8.
• Expertise in ASP.NET Core Web API (.NET 8), Entity Framework Core, and service-oriented application design.
• Strong experience with SQL Server 2019 or later, including database design and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, API scalability, and secure coding practices.
• Ability to create clear, reusable technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Entity Framework Core Code First approach.
• Exposure to system design, clean architecture, or domain-driven design (DDD).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD concepts is a plus.
