Full Job Description
EY is seeking a skilled .NET Developer with SSIS experience for its Wealth Management Technology team in Kolkata, West Bengal. This role is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical platform for wealth and investment management products and services.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of development experience and be proficient in .NET 6, .NET Framework (4.8), SSIS, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core. Responsibilities include designing and developing ETL processes using SSIS, creating and maintaining SSIS packages for data migration and integration, developing web and desktop applications, implementing SQL Server database solutions (stored procedures, functions, performance tuning), and participating in all phases of the SDLC. You will collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, analyze business requirements, write specifications, code solutions accurately, and adhere to coding standards and best practices. Experience developing applications under an onshore-offshore model is essential, along with a positive, constructive approach to problem-solving and strong leadership qualities.
Primary Skills:
- Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent and at least 7 years of development experience in .Net 6 and .net Framework (4.8)
- Strong in developing REST APIs, DB integrations with and without ORM frameworks, API and Soap integration, Background jobs.
- Strong OO design skills, SOLID and other design principles.
- Experience using Latest C# language constructs, Collections, LINQ and async programming.
- Experience with TDD practices, unit testing in the .Net Ecosystem.
- Experience using DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Splunk.
- Experience in Event-driven integrations via Queues and Topics.
- Good knowledge of Multiple Relational Databases (SQL SERVER, ORACLE, Postgres) or ability to learn quickly.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver quickly with high accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting business requirements and producing design documents.
- Good time management skills – ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Enthusiastic to understand and learn the domain.
Secondary Skills:
- Web UI JS Framework – Angular
- Understanding of Cloud, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Distributed Caching

- Experience in the financial services/banking industry, specifically in the Wealth Management domain.
