Director

As a Director - Technology Leader, you will guide a cross-functional pod, staying hands-on with code development. Responsibilities include designing scalable cloud-native software on GCP or AWS, owning the end-to-end user experience by building UIs, APIs, microservices, and business components. You will collaborate closely with Product, Business, and Enablement teams to align technical decisions with customer needs and engage directly with clients to gather feedback, analyze pain points, and drive rapid fixes. This role also involves establishing processes to champion code quality, automation, and continuous improvement, while fostering a culture of ownership, inclusivity, and learning within the team.

We are looking for candidates with 10-16 years of professional software design and development experience. Essential requirements include mastery in front-end development with React (or its ecosystem) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, along with proficiency in at least one additional language such as Elixir, Go, Java, Python, Ruby, or .NET. Deep system design expertise, including experience with patterns, resilience modeling, and clear documentation, is crucial. A proven track record of shipping performant, cloud-native products at scale, with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD experience being a plus, is expected. A user-centric mindset, strong interface design instincts, and inclusive leadership skills are also vital. Excellent communication skills to articulate trade-offs, influence stakeholders, and inspire action are required.
