About the Role

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Director, IT Asset & Supplier Management to oversee ITAM and Supplier operational activities across EMEA and APAC. This pivotal role demands a forward-thinking specialist adept at leveraging automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive intelligent IT asset management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of senior IT Asset Management (ITAM) expertise and data-driven innovation, focusing on enhancing ITAM processes, deriving actionable insights, and ensuring data integrity throughout the asset lifecycle. This position is crucial for optimizing supplier relationships, mitigating risks, ensuring contract adherence, and maximizing business value within the APAC and EMEA regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Lifecycle Management: Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and configurations, monitor performance and utilization, and propose improvements.
• Compliance and Optimization: Ensure adherence to IT asset management policies, software licensing agreements, and audit requirements. Optimize asset utilization and identify cost-saving opportunities. Lead software contract renewals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• AI Integration: Employ AI technologies to advance asset management, including predictive analytics for asset performance, automated compliance checks, and AI-driven optimization strategies.
• Supplier Governance Framework Development: Implement and refine the supplier governance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Act as the primary executive liaison for strategic suppliers, managing executive reviews, performance assessments, and overall relationship health.
• Supplier Performance & Risk Management: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for suppliers, ensure contractual compliance, and proactively manage financial, operational, and regulatory supplier risks.
• Contract Oversight: Ensure compliance with contract terms, track key milestones and renewal dates, and support contract negotiations and amendments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, procurement, finance, IT, and operational teams to align IT Asset & Supplier strategies with business needs and regulatory demands.
• Reporting and Analytics: Deliver regular executive reports and dashboards on IT Asset & Supplier performance, risk exposure, and value realization.

Qualifications

• Experience in leveraging AI within work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools, automation, analyzing AI insights, or assessing AI's impact.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience managing globally diverse teams within a Fortune 500 organization.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and supplier management activities, with proven ability to interpret contract terms and conditions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using the ServiceNow platform.
• Proven supplier management skills, including setting and measuring SLAs and KPIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to utilize AI for data-driven decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Established experience in IT asset management, with a focus on AI integration and optimization.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
