HighView Partners is seeking a Director, Facilities & Campus Operations for a prestigious independent school in the Greater Toronto Area, renowned for its academic excellence and vibrant community engagement. This pivotal role involves the comprehensive oversight of the campus environment, ensuring efficient management, maintenance, and strategic long-term planning of its infrastructure and facilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing capital frameworks, managing critical service relationships, and fostering a safe, welcoming, and supportive campus atmosphere that enhances the educational experience for students and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily management, maintenance, and strategic long-term planning of the school’s campus environment.
- Ensuring all buildings, infrastructure, and external spaces are maintained to the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency to support daily school activities.
- Guiding the implementation of a long-term capital framework for building lifecycle planning, infrastructure renewal, and future campus development.
- Managing key campus service relationships, including food services, custodial services, and trade partners, while strengthening vendor governance and procurement practices for operational discipline and cost management.
- Collaborating with leadership to maintain contemporary campus safety protocols and preserve the school’s welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere.
- Working collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and service partners to ensure the campus environment effectively supports the educational mission and daily life of the school community.
