Join EY GDS Assurance Digital as a Senior Digital role in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. You will be instrumental in implementing innovative ideas through AI research to develop high-growth, impactful products. This core full-time AI developer position involves building analytics-enabled solutions, integrating data science with business insights, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to support global clients. As our in-house senior AI engineer, your expertise will steer our Innovation agenda.

Responsibilities include converting business problems into analytical challenges, devising solution approaches, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data for business insights. You will own the AI/ML implementation lifecycle: model design, feature planning, testing, production setup, monitoring, and release management. Collaboration with Solution Architects for deploying AI Proofs of Concepts (POCs) and scaling them to production-level applications is crucial. You should possess a solid background in Python and experience deploying open-source models. Expertise in data extraction techniques from complex documents (PDF, Word) for entity and table extraction is also required.

Key Requirements include an excellent academic background with a bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Operational Research, or a related field with a strong focus on modern data architectures. A solid background in Python with excellent coding skills is essential. We require 4+ years of core data science experience in one or more of the following areas: Machine Learning (Regression, Classification, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Time-series Forecasting, Clustering), Large Language Models (LLMs) like OpenAI models (ChatGPT, GPT4), and frameworks such as LangChain and Llama Index. Familiarity with open-source LLM frameworks like Mistral and Llama, including fine-tuning on custom datasets, is desirable. Experience in Deep Learning (DNN, RNN, LSTM, Encoder-Decoder Models), Natural Language Processing (NLP) for tasks like text summarization, aspect mining, question answering, text classification, NER, language translation, NLG, sentiment analysis, and sentence similarity is also valued. Computer Vision skills (Image Classification, Object Detection, Tracking) and proficiency with SQL/NoSQL Databases are needed. Working knowledge of API Deployment (Flask/FastAPI/Azure Function Apps), web app creation, Docker, and Kubernetes is expected.

Additional skills include excellent written, oral, presentation, and facilitation skills. You should be able to coordinate multiple projects through effective prioritization, organization, flexibility, and self-discipline. Demonstrated project management experience is required. Knowledge of firm's reporting tools and processes is a plus. Proactive, organized, and self-sufficient individuals with the ability to prioritize and multitask are encouraged. You should be adept at analyzing complex problems and delivering pragmatic solutions, with the ability to quickly gather and analyze data from various sources. A robust and resilient disposition to encourage discipline in team behaviors is also sought.
