Digital R&D Software Engineering Expert

Sanofi is seeking a Software Engineering Expert to join our expanding Hyderabad hub. What you will be doing

• Implement complex, data-intensive, and accessible user interfaces with a focus on performance and maintainability.
• Design efficient front-end solutions to meet business and operational needs.
• Develop highly scalable backend solutions and RESTful APIs while adhering to coding standards.
• Collaborate with Design, Data Science, Product Owners, and fellow developers to enhance user experience.
• Promote the adoption of company standards, industry best practices, and emerging standards.
• Assist in technical solution discovery to ensure feasibility.
• Create reusable smart components and manage component libraries.
• Own the full product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, operation, and support.
• Create detailed documentation on Confluence for codebase and functionality support.

About You

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience with significant hands-on expertise in React.js and Python.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong front-end experience with React framework, React UI component libraries, JavaScript, NodeJS, Angular, and HTML/CSS.
• Strong back-end experience with Python and FastAPI.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, HTTP APIs, middleware, JWT, and WebSockets.
• Familiarity with software best practices, design patterns, and development standards.
• Experience with data visualization libraries.
• Experience organizing and managing reusable component libraries.
• Experience owning and maintaining NPM packages.
• Proficiency with modern testing frameworks like Jest and Pytest.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• GitHub experience is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud containerization technologies (Docker, OpenShift, AWS ECR/EKS).
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Checkmarx, Artifactory, AWS CloudWatch, and authorization concepts (OAuth, KeyCloak, AuthN/AuthZ, SSO).
• Experience in the healthcare or life sciences domain.
