Digital Marketing Specialist - Content Strategist at Iridium Cloud Systems

Iridium Cloud Systems is seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing-Content Strategist to spearhead our content marketing efforts. This role is crucial for developing engaging, SEO-optimized, and brand-consistent content across various digital platforms. You will leverage strategic thinking and creative writing to produce content that educates and resonates with our target audience, including blogs, social media, email campaigns, and community forums.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy: Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar aligned with business objectives. Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor landscapes to identify new content opportunities. Strategically repurpose long-form content into multiple engaging short-form formats.
• Content Creation: Produce high-quality written content such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and newsletters. Craft compelling social media posts, LinkedIn updates, Twitter/X threads, and active participation in community platforms like Quora and Reddit. Collaborate effectively with designers and video editors to enhance content with visual and video elements. Ensure all content adheres strictly to brand voice, tone, and style guidelines.
• SEO & Optimization: Conduct thorough keyword research to optimize all content for search engines. Write effective meta titles, descriptions, and on-page SEO elements. Monitor content performance using analytics tools and continuously refine content strategies for maximum impact.
• Cross-Platform Coordination: Work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure strategic content distribution across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and TikTok. Support the Email Marketing Specialist by providing compelling newsletter copy. Collaborate with the SEO Specialist to align content with search engine ranking goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of demonstrable experience in content writing, copywriting, or content strategy.
• Exceptional command of English grammar, storytelling, and persuasive writing techniques.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices and proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner.
• Proven ability to create content for diverse formats, including long-form (blogs, guides) and short-form (social media posts, ad copy, email snippets).
• Strong research capabilities and analytical skills.
• Basic familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Medium.
• A creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail and consistency in content delivery.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Prior experience in B2B content marketing or within the technology/IT sectors.
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or ConvertKit.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Express for creating basic visuals.
• Experience in adapting content into scripts for video production or podcasts.
