Join EY's GDS Assurance Digital team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, as a Senior Digital-GEN AI professional. You will play a pivotal role in implementing innovative ideas through AI research to develop high-growth, impactful products. This is a core, full-time AI developer role where your expertise will drive our innovation agenda.

You will support EY's sector and service line professionals by developing analytics-enabled solutions, integrating data science with business objectives to derive insights from data. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across the region, you will support global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business problems into analytical problems and design solution approaches.
• Clean, aggregate, analyze, and interpret data to uncover business insights.
• Manage the end-to-end AI/ML implementation process: Model Design, Feature Planning, Testing, Production Setup, Monitoring, and Release Management.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on deploying AI Proofs of Concepts (POCs) and scaling them to production-level applications.
• Develop data extraction techniques from complex documents like PDFs and Word documents, focusing on entity extraction, table extraction, and information comparison.
• Deploy AI solutions using Python and open-source models.

Key Requirements & Skills:

• Excellent academic background with a minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Operational Research, or a related field with a strong focus on modern data architectures and processes.
• Solid Python programming skills and experience deploying AI models.
• 4+ years of core data science experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Machine Learning (Regression, Classification, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Time Series Forecasting, Clustering)
• Large Language Models (LLMs) including experience with models like OpenAI's ChatGPT and GPT4, and frameworks like LangChain and Llama Index.
• Understanding and application of open-source LLM frameworks such as Mistral and Llama, including fine-tuning on custom datasets.
• Deep Learning (DNN, RNN, LSTM, Encoder-Decoder Models)
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) including Text Summarization, Aspect Mining, Question Answering, Text Classification, Named Entity Recognition (NER), Natural Language Generation (NLG), Sentiment Analysis, and Sentence Similarity.
• Computer Vision including Image Classification, Object Detection, and Tracking.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL Databases and their manipulation.
• Working knowledge of API Deployment (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Azure Function Apps), web application development, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent written, oral, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously through effective prioritization, organization, flexibility, and self-discipline.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Knowledge of firm's reporting tools and processes.
• Proactive, organized, self-sufficient, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Capacity to analyze complex or unusual problems and deliver insightful, pragmatic solutions.
• Ability to quickly and easily gather and analyze data from various sources.
• A robust and resilient disposition to encourage discipline in team behaviors.
