Galent, a forward-thinking digital transformation company, is seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Lead to spearhead technology strategy and innovation. This pivotal role demands a blend of deep technical expertise and strong customer engagement skills to architect and deliver cutting-edge digital solutions. Based in the United States, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive solution architecture and design for intricate digital transformation initiatives spanning various sectors.
  • Guide development teams in constructing modern, scalable, and resilient applications utilizing microservices, APIs, cloud-native, and event-driven architectures.
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in driving Proofs of Concept (PoCs), conducting design reviews, and validating solutions.
  • Champion AI and Generative AI (Gen AI) driven engineering practices, integrating intelligent automation, code acceleration, and AI-powered quality improvements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Drive innovation by incubating new solution accelerators and reusable assets powered by AI, Machine Learning (ML), and automation.
  • Lead technical solution design, estimation, and the preparation of compelling proposals for Request for Proposals (RFPs), proactive pitches, and client pursuits.
  • Confidently present solutions to customer architects, CIOs, and business leaders, showcasing both technical acumen and business value.
  • Collaborate with account and delivery teams to define digital roadmaps and identify strategic growth opportunities.
  • Oversee architecture governance, ensuring technology selections align with client strategies and enterprise standards.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentor delivery teams in the adoption of modern engineering practices, including DevSecOps, CI/CD, Cloud-native development, and API-first approaches.
  • Build and scale digital engineering capabilities across North America, encompassing full-stack development, cloud modernization, and intelligent automation.
  • Engage with global innovation and Center of Excellence (CoE) teams to advance reusable frameworks, accelerators, and Gen AI enablers.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on technical proficiency in Digital Engineering.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI/Gen AI.
  • Proven ability in customer engagement and digital solutioning.
  • Strong background in application modernization.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture.
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in software engineering, digital solutioning, and technology leadership roles.
  • A solid track record in solution architecture, proposal response, and customer presentations for large-scale digital transformation programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern architectural paradigms: microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, and serverless computing.
  • Significant exposure to application modernization, full-stack development, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with Gen AI and AI-assisted engineering, such as integrating LLMs, intelligent automation, or AI-based developer productivity tools.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into technical implementations.
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving orientation, capable of thriving in complex, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in pre-sales or solutioning leadership for digital or application engineering portfolios.
  • Exposure to industry-specific digital transformation initiatives (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, BFSI, or retail).
  • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe, etc.).
  • A history of publishing thought leadership, innovation frameworks, or Gen AI-driven solutions.
