DevOps Engineer

Summary

The Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and operational reliability across Azure and AWS demo platforms. This role ensures all environments are provisioned, updated, and decommissioned using strict infrastructure-as-code and DevOps best practices to support the full demo lifecycle. The work is focused on application development and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or any secured/confidential client data.

Your role in our mission

• Author, maintain, and optimize Terraform modules for Azure and AWS to enable self-service, versioned, and auditable environment lifecycles.
• Build, secure, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for the deployment of applications, configuration, and demo data.
• Integrate automated smoke and load tests into the deployment process.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, App Configuration, and Product SME teams for feature flag deployment, automated checks, and environment adjustments.
• Maintain comprehensive audit trails for demo activity, including provisioning, configuration, and usage.
• Support knowledge management by updating templates and modules based on post-demo feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement in environment reliability, reproducibility, and performance.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 9 years of experience as a DevOps engineer with extensive Terraform knowledge, preferably in multi-cloud environments.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines in Azure and AWS environments.
• Familiarity with automated testing and environment monitoring.
• Experience with demo or sandbox platforms is a plus, as is experience with AI/GenAI deployment.
