DevOps Engineer
OneXtel Limited - Pune
Job Summary
OneXtel Limited is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team in Pune. This full-time role focuses on infrastructure automation, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes-based deployments, managing both on-premise and cloud environments to ensure high availability, scalability, security, and seamless application delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters using Helm charts and manifests.
- Handle containerization using Docker and manage container orchestration.
- Install, configure, and manage Redis clusters for high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Manage virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or similar tools.
- Ensure system reliability, performance monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to enable smooth and reliable deployments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and system-level issues.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in DevOps / Infrastructure Automation.
- Hands-on expertise with Jenkins CI/CD or equivalent tools.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Docker and container concepts.
- Experience in Redis cluster setup and management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC).
- Knowledge of Proxmox and other virtualization platforms.
- Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Reverse Proxies).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
