Devops Engineer

Ample Softech System is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join their team in Pune (Hinjewadi Phase 1) and Mumbai. This role focuses on managing robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring seamless application deployments across various environments. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), essential automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and effective monitoring systems. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing deployment speed, reliability, and overall application scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage their orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and health using advanced monitoring tools.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and access control.
• Collaborate effectively with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive deployment and operational documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with Linux/Unix systems.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Proven experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and/or Python.
• Solid understanding of Networking & Security concepts.
• Familiarity with Monitoring & Logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

Good to Have

• Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and Cloud-Native principles.
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or FinOps practices.
