DevOps Engineer - Pune, India

Neev is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune, India. This permanent position requires 2-5 years of hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing applications across AWS and Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure management, containerization technologies, system monitoring, and robust security best practices. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the reliable and scalable deployment of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Manage application deployments for both backend and frontend services.
• Build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS / AKS preferred).
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Perform comprehensive Linux server administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, secrets management, SSL, and VPC/Networking configurations.
• Provide essential support for production deployments, rollbacks, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams to enhance deployment reliability and automation.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of progressive experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Proven experience deploying applications on AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS) and Azure (Azure VM, App Services, AKS).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Experience with Git and standard version control workflows.
• Understanding of core networking concepts: VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers, Security Groups.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Exposure to Helm charts for Kubernetes package management.
• Experience with relational databases (RDS, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Knowledge of message queueing systems (RabbitMQ, SQS, Service Bus).
• Experience with modern application frameworks like FastAPI, Node.js, or microservices architectures.
• Basic scripting abilities in Bash or Python.
• Exposure to LLMOps or AI workloads is considered a significant advantage.
