Senior DevOps Engineer

Credable is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Noida, India. This work from office role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with 2 to 7 years of experience to contribute to a dynamic and growing company. You will report directly to the VP - Engineering.

The core of this position is to architect, implement, and manage highly available, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. You will be instrumental in driving DevOps best practices, orchestrating Kubernetes environments, building robust CI/CD pipelines, and embedding security throughout the cloud ecosystem. This role also involves mentoring engineering teams, optimizing cloud performance, and enhancing system reliability through advanced monitoring and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cloud architecture and management for scalable, secure infrastructure primarily on AWS, with secondary support for Azure.
• Orchestrate Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS) to ensure high availability, efficient scaling, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for reproducible and versioned environments.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, automating testing, security scanning, and deployments.
• Champion DevSecOps practices, integrating security into IAM, VPC design, container hardening, and overall infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize Docker-based microservices and ensure secure, lightweight container images.
• Develop automation scripts in Python or Shell to streamline operational tasks and enhance monitoring capabilities.
• Mentor engineering teams on cloud-native design principles, disaster recovery strategies, and performance tuning.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, while actively driving cost optimization for cloud resources.
• Promote site reliability engineering by implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

Qualifications:

• Expert-level knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and Kubernetes administration.
• Proficiency in Azure infrastructure and experience with cross-cloud integrations.
• Deep experience with Docker and microservices orchestration.
• Strong scripting proficiency in Python and Shell.
• Advanced knowledge of Jenkins for managing complex CI/CD workflows.
• A strong security mindset, encompassing network security, encryption (at rest/in transit), and compliance.
• Expertise in Git, including advanced branching and merging strategies.
