Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer with 2-6 years of experience to contribute to the automation and streamlining of our software development and deployment processes. This role involves close collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Implementation: Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Infrastructure as Code: Manage and provision infrastructure efficiently using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Develop, deploy, and maintain containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
• System Monitoring & Performance: Actively monitor application and infrastructure performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively troubleshoot issues.
• Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to ensure seamless and automated deployment workflows.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Uphold thorough documentation for all systems, processes, and deployment procedures, adhering strictly to DevOps best practices.

Key Skills & Technologies

• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent tools.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, and optionally CloudFormation.
• Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Monitoring & Logging: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and optionally the ELK stack.
• Version Control: Git.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in DevOps or similar roles.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A solid understanding of networking, security principles, and cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with scripting languages including Python, Bash, or Shell.
• An understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
