Full Job Description
SmartDocs Business Solutions Private Limited is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a night shift (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM IST). This role involves enhancing our infrastructure, deployment processes, and the overall software development lifecycle. You will build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, work closely with development teams to integrate CI/CD best practices, and design/implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployment, implementing monitoring and logging solutions, and ensuring application and infrastructure availability and performance. You will also implement security best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and operations to foster a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Integrate CI/CD into the software development lifecycle.
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions.
- Understand programming infrastructure for Java, Python, Angular, and Spring Boot.
- Implement security best practices in infrastructure and code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of collaboration.
Core Competencies:
- B.Tech. / M.Tech in CSE / Software Engineering / IT Graduate.
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience in Linux Administration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket CICD).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Experience with ticketing tools like Jira.
- Experience with log management tools (ELK, Splunk).
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Site 24/7, Datadog, Intune).
- Domain Management tools (Cloudflare/GoDaddy).
- MongoDB Database administration and Mongo Atlas Management knowledge.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Azure certifications are a plus.
