DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Navi Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in automating and optimizing our software development and deployment pipelines for our telecom products. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Automating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Implementing and managing containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Deploying and managing Kafka clusters and MySQL databases.
• Configuring and managing load balancers like Nginx or HAProxy.
• Automating infrastructure tasks using Ansible.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure and applications.
• Ensuring security and compliance of our systems.
• Collaborating on code optimization for performance.
• Staying current with DevOps best practices and emerging technologies.

Required skills include:

• Hands-on experience with Docker, including Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, and Docker Compose.
• Experience with load balancers (Nginx, HAProxy, Apache).
• Proficiency in MySQL, including design, indexing, replication, backup, and performance tuning.
• Experience managing Kafka clusters, topics, partitions, and brokers.
• Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, integrating Docker, and automating deployments.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Git version control.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and the ELK stack.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.

Preferred skills include:

• Experience with OpenStack for deployment, VM management, and orchestration.
• Knowledge of Virtual Network Functions (VNF) and NFV frameworks relevant to telecom use cases.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role. Relevant certifications are a plus.
