DevOps Engineer

About the Role

AlgoSec is hiring a DevOps Engineer for its global R&D organization based in Gurugram, India (Hybrid). As a key player in a dynamic team within our A-player DevOps group, you will lead AlgoSec's production and development infrastructure end-to-end on AWS using Jenkins.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote agile development processes for leading network security products.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD solutions running on AWS (managing multiple accounts).
• Manage the build environment, software, and operating systems as part of continuous integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust DevOps solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical CI and production issues.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps roles (Mid-to-Senior level).
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Git source control (Bitbucket/GitLab).
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Python/Java, Groovy; Java/Maven experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with ELK stack and Kafka (Experience is an advantage).

A.I. & Agentic Transformation Focus

This role requires cutting-edge expertise in AI integration:

• Establishing CI/CD procedures enhanced by Prompt Engineering principles.
• Leveraging AI chatbot tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for test scenario creation, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
• Familiarity with AI-powered coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, use, and configure MCPs (Model Context Protocol).
• Experience transforming non-agentic SDLC processes into agentic systems/SDLC.
• Skill in building RAG pipelines utilizing vector databases for semantic search.

Advantages

Candidates with experience developing MCPs, working on RAG pipelines, and transforming traditional software development lifecycles (SDLC) into agentic systems will be highly prioritized. Excellent written/verbal English communication skills are mandatory.
