Devops Engineer

About the Role

A well-funded, seed-stage industrial-AI company is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, security standards, monitoring, and incident response. You will serve as a core partner on the infrastructure supporting our main ML/AI models.

• Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and run scalable HA infrastructure across multiple clouds using IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• CI/CD: Build and optimize company-wide CI/CD pipelines.
• Observability: Implement monitoring/logging/alerting stacks like Prometheus/Grafana or ELK to ensure system health.
• Security: Enforce security practices including secrets management, network segmentation, and patching.
• Cost Optimization: Proactively identify savings in cloud spend without compromising reliability.
• Engineering Support: Resolve production issues and streamline developer workflows.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar role with seed-stage startup experience (zero-to-one builds).
• Tech Stack: Expert-level Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS); Terraform; CI/CD tools like GitLab/Jenkins;
• Databases: Hands-on DBA skills with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

Nice to Have

• MLOps experience for production ML model serving.
• Security certifications and cloud security framework expertise.
• On-prem deployment and IoT time-series data handling.
