Devops Engineer

Netomi is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to collaborate with our software development team in deploying and operating systems. This role is crucial for ensuring system stability, continuous monitoring, and prompt issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Kubernetes Management
• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including configuring and enforcing RBAC policies.
• Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance and scalability.

• CI/CD Pipeline Development
• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker to automate deployments and improve delivery efficiency.

• Helm Templates
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Helm charts for Kubernetes applications, ensuring proper versioning and deployment strategies.

• Service Mesh Implementation
• Integrate and manage service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd for service discovery, load balancing, secure communication, and traffic management.
• Implement observability within the service mesh.

• Scripting and Automation
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Ruby, or Golang for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and debugging.

• (Bonus) Chaos & Resilience Engineering
• Implement chaos engineering principles to test and enhance system reliability by simulating failures and measuring resilience.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in DevOps or a related field.

• Tools and Technologies:
• Proficiency with Kubernetes (RBAC, cluster administration, Helm).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spinnaker).
• Experience with service mesh solutions (Istio, Linkerd).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon ECS and Terraform is mandatory.

• Skills:
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Golang.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of system design, networking, and infrastructure management.

• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of chaos engineering tools like Chaos Monkey, LitmusChaos, or Gremlin.
