Position: DevOps Engineer-II
Experience: Minimum 3 years as a DevOps Engineer
Location: Bangalore, India
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain Bottomline solutions across cloud and customer on-premise environments.
- Enhance automation within our build and deployment pipelines.
- Monitor system, application, and network performance and availability.
- Implement and advance DevSecOps practices.
- Design and architect scalable network deployment solutions and requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and technologies.
- Apply a strong understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Utilize experience in container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Apply expertise with infrastructure-as-code frameworks like Terraform and Puppet.
- Implement and manage monitoring and observability tools including the ELK stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, VPN, routing tables, etc.).
- Possess a foundational understanding of databases and the Java programming language.
- Understand multi-tier architectures, web-based development, and Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA).
- Apply principles of Object-Oriented design and development.
- Adhere to modern engineering best practices.
- Communicate effectively through excellent verbal and written skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL).
- Familiarity with AWS DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Demonstrate a passion for learning and mastering information technology.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience within the financial industry is a plus.
- Experience in web application development using modern frameworks.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design, ORM concepts, and software testing.
- Experience with Web Server/Application Server deployments and administration (e.g., Weblogic, Apache Tomcat).
