DevOps Engineer Opportunity in India

CamelQ Software Solutions Private Limited is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of software applications through close collaboration between development and operations. Ideal candidates will possess a robust understanding of both software development lifecycle and operational infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software releases.
• Proactively monitor system health, performance, and identify/resolve issues to guarantee high availability and system uptime.
• Partner with software development teams to enhance application performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Manage and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the software deployment lifecycle.
• Administer and optimize cloud environments on major platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Qualifications and Skills Required

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field is preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role or a similar operational/development capacity.
• Demonstrated proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with popular CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of cloud service providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong grasp of fundamental networking concepts and established security protocols and practices.
