Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Identify key performance metrics for environments and develop solutions to ensure stability and monitor acceptable Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Plan and build automation for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
- Assist and recommend development and consulting teams on industry best practices in DevOps.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in learning new technologies, adapting quickly, and facilitating rapid deployment to business teams.
- Support existing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) providers.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team with minimal supervision.
Technical Knowledge Required:
- CI/Automation/Integration Tools: Jenkins, TravisCI, TeamCity, CircleCI, GitLab.
- Cloud Computing Services: Azure, AWS, GCP.
- Container Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Scripting and Programming Languages: Shell, AWK, Groovy, Python, NodeJs.
- Infrastructure as Code (Programmable Infrastructure): Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
- Administration: SCM, Bug Tracking, Doc Management tools such as Github, JIRA, Google Docs, and operating systems like Ubuntu, CentOS.
- Server-Side Technologies: Apache, Nginx, Redis, HAProxy, IIS.
- Databases: Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL.
Additional Advantages:
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Groovy, NodeJs.
- Familiarity with the Salesforce Platform.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Typescript/Javascript or any other programming languages.
