DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Holiday Tribe in Gurugram. This role is crucial for designing, deploying, and managing scalable infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP, ensuring high availability and performance of our services through effective management of Kubernetes clusters.

You will be instrumental in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions to optimize deployment processes. The position involves implementing robust observability stacks, including Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and the ELK stack, for proactive monitoring and logging. Close collaboration with engineering teams will be essential to ensure secure, fast, and cost-effective infrastructure for backend services and AI orchestration.

Key responsibilities include owning incident response workflows, setting up alerts, improving system reliability, and refining root cause analysis practices. You will also automate routine operational tasks and contribute to internal tooling to minimize manual effort.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on DevOps experience, preferably within a product-based startup environment.
• Strong command of cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP, including services like VPCs, EC2/GKE, and IAM.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production settings.
• Proficiency in CI/CD systems, with a preference for Jenkins (experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and the ELK Stack.
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash and Python, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform (Helm experience is beneficial).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and product teams.
