EaseMyTrip.com is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance and maintain its IT infrastructure and deployment workflows. This role is crucial for optimizing cloud environments, implementing automation, and ensuring efficient application deployments. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability, security, and overall efficiency, contributing to EaseMyTrip's commitment to delivering exceptional travel experiences through advanced technological solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, with familiarity in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
- Configure and maintain Windows Server systems and Internet Information Services (IIS).
- Deploy various .NET applications, including ASP.Net, MVC, Web API, and WCF, utilizing Jenkins.
- Utilize GitLab or GitHub for version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Administer Linux servers, focusing on security and performance enhancements.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks to boost efficiency and reliability.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Apply security best practices to protect systems and data.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software updates and deployments.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve deployment issues and enhance operational efficiency.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience leading significant migration projects from planning to execution.
- Strong knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience managing projects across diverse tech stacks, including 2-tier, 3-tier, and microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience with automation and deployment tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and AWS CodeDeploy.
- Proficiency in managing code revisions and maintaining code integrity across multiple platforms.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise-level DevOps strategies.
- Skills in configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience with a range of programming languages and frameworks, including .NET, MVC, LAMP, Python, and NodeJS.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of innovating solutions for system reliability and performance.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
