DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Squareops is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Docker and Kubernetes to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on AWS using tools like Terraform.
• Kubernetes Orchestration: Orchestrate and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes (K8s) to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
• Performance Monitoring and Enhancement: Improve system performance and reliability using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or the ELK Stack.
• Client and Team Collaboration: Work closely with clients, engineering teams, and infrastructure specialists to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions.
• Innovation and Best Practices: Advocate for and implement new technologies and best practices to drive team and project success.
• Project Ownership: Take full responsibility for project execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• AWS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with key AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
• Kubernetes Expertise: Deep understanding of K8s, including experience with Helm, Operators, and multi-cluster management.
• Automation Skills: Expertise in automation tools such as Terraform, Shell scripting, AWS Lambda, and EventBridge for cloud infrastructure automation.
• CI/CD Tooling: Strong experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or other leading CI/CD systems.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Proven experience in setting up high availability and disaster recovery solutions for cloud infrastructure.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Exceptional analytical skills and a strong drive for innovation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and with clients.
